Went to see “The Whistle”, a Thai movie. I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a romantic movie, about a girl who got a whistle from a boy when they were in primary school. The boy told the girl that if she ever needed anything, just blow the whistle and he would be there to help.
Then time passed by, the boy moved to other city and other school, they never met again. Until one day the girl (now grown up) accidentally found the whistle, and found herself in a crisis situation. The boy (now grown up, and very good looking) came to rescue her. And then the romantic story went on.
The story doesn’t make sense at some points. Actually, it couldn’t be real at all. But I didn’t mind and could enjoy it a lot. Part of it, I guess, was that I didn’t expect this movie would be very good. So… it wasn’t bad. And also the past weeks I was kind of in the mood for something light and romantic. Something that could take me away from my boring life.
I want to see Italian Job, too. Probably go see it tomorrow, as I will not have to go back home in the evening. I will have to go pickup my sister, and we will go home together. It’s my mother’s birthday. So we will have a little party. I will have to buy a cake too.
